The International Administrative Assistant program strives to meet the needs of students who are building upon basic skills, re-entering the workforce, changing careers, or retraining on current computer programs. Instruction emphasizes those skills needed for entry level office support positions within an international office environment. Students are encouraged to join the local chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). In addition, students should strive for certification in their field; namely, CAP -- Certified Administrative Assistant.

International office professionals are inn demand. Entry-level positions for International office support personnel are needed in all businesses, including federal. state, county, and city government offices; often an additional stipend is offered to employees with bilingual skills. And industry-education advisory committee is active in providing current information on job trends, job placement and employment opportunities are available through the career center and the OIS program
