The Receptionist program strives to meet the needs of students
who are building basic skills, re-entering the workforce, changing
careers, or retraining on current computer programs. Instruction
emphasizes the development of keyboarding skills, computer concepts
with practical applications, filing and records management, and
office procedures. Classes are offered online as well.

build public relations by providing efficient, courteous,
and personalized service to the public. They give
information by telephone or personal contact and direct and
control the flow of clients or visitors to their
destinations. An industry-education advisory
committee is active in providing current information on job
