Hello, my name is Jake, and I am a student here at Palomar College.  I am currently working on my BA in mathematics, with a minor in Japanese language.  After I finish my degree, I would like to teach math in Japan.  I started tutoring in high school, when I would stay after school to help students in the mandatory tutorial.  I enjoyed helping them so much that I wanted to become a math teacher, especially at the high school/college level.
