Tracy Chester is the Director of Family Housing at Interfaith Community Services, Wellness Center in Escondido,CA. Tracy is a licensed clinical social worker and is certified as a CADC ll. Tracy teaches various AODS/PSYC/SOC classes.

Al Feliciano is a Clinical Director for CRC Health and teaches in the Alcohol and Drug Studies Program at UCSD Extension. He is an active member of CAADAC and is certified as a CADC ll. Al teaches AODS/PSYC/SOC 255 Treatment Modalities, Law and Ethics and other AODS classes.

Jim Fent is a licensed physical therapist and marriage and family therapist who is certified as an alcohol and drug counselor. Jim Fent has worked in the medical field for the past 20 years. With a special interest in chronic pain and disability, he has a familiarity with dealing with those who have abused pain medication while going through pain management. As a unique addition to the Treatment Team, Jim gets across to the addict and alcoholic who hide behind the facade of abusing prescriptions.
Jim teaches various AODS/PSYC/SOC classes.

Connie Collins is the Executive Director of Pemarro, a long-term AOD treatment center in Ramona that specializes in relapse prevention. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Associate, and is pursuing her doctorate in Psychology.
Connie currently teaches AODS 260, Chemical Dependency Family Counseling. |

David Grey is the Primary Care Coordinator at Casa Palmera,an exclusive inpatient drug rehab and alcohol treatment center in San Diego. Casa Palmera has four areas of focus: drug rehab, alcohol treatment, eating disorder treatment and trauma treatment.
David has 16 years work experience in substance abuse
treatment. He is experienced working with chemical dependency, eating disorders, chronic pain and a variety of co-occuring disorders.
David
currently teaches AODS 150, Introduction to Alcohol and Other Drug Studies.

Maria Miller is the Program Coodinator for Alcohol and Other Drug Studies/Psychological and Social Services and a Professor in the Behavioral Sciences Dept. For the past 28 years, she has been a Professor and Counselor at Palomar College,
serving as Career Services Director and Professional
Development Coordinator. Maria is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has certification as a Career Counselor. She is also an instructional designer who has designed 25 multimedia products
and various websites.
Maria has held counseling postions
at United States International University, Cal Poly Pomona, Ball State University and Kent State University. She also
has worked with mentally ill adults and children at various agencies. Maria served as an AODS intern at Mental Health Systems, North County Center for Change, "Drug Court" and is certified by CAADAC as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Associate.

Dr. Lisa Romain is a Palomar College Counselor and a Professor who teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Counseling, Psychology, Child Development and Alcohol and Drug Studies. Dr. Romain has a Doctorate degree in Organizational Psychology, a Masters degree in Organizational Management and Development and a Masters degree in Educational Counseling. As a counselor and professor, she is familiar with community agencies, their functions and specific techniques useful for working in such settings.
As a consultant, Dr. Romain provides training and development, strategic planning workshops, career exploration and development services to various agencies, and addresses organizational management, development and behavior issues to help individuals work more effectively in organizational communities. |

Barbara Williams is a Professor Emeritus in the Behavioral Sciences Dept. who serves on the Alcohol and Other Drug Studies advisory board. Ms. Williams
has taught Psychology, Sociology, Nursing and AODS coursework in her long career. Barbara has worked as a dispute mediator for the San Diego Mediation Center. She holds a MA in Expermental Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Barbara was the originator of the Palomar College Alcohol and Other Drug Studies (AODS) AA/Certificate program and held the position of program director through Fall 2008. Under Barbara's direction Palomar College AODS program was granted CAADE (California Association for Alcohol/Drug Educators) accreditation status. As program director, Barbara has guided Palomar College AODS and Psychological and Social Services students through their field placments and unto employment as AODS and Human Service professionals. |
