Academic Technology has
developed a new help ticketing system to
help student and faculty members request
technical support with academic technology
issues, Blackboard in particular. The
new system can be found at:
http://palomaratrc.helpserve.com/
The new help portal
features the ability for users to fill out
and submit requests for technical assistant
(called help "tickets"). The help
system replies to users, and issues a ticket
number that can be used to track progress on
solving the support issue. The help
system also features a growing knowledge
base of articles that users can use to solve
their own issues, and a download module
where common helper applications or browser
plugins may be downloaded.
Academic Technology
will address help requests originating from
the new ticketing system first. It is
also to request technical assistance via
email to
onlineclasses@palomar.edu, or via voice
at (760) 744-1150 ext. 2862.

Please note: you
do not need to login to the help system to
submit a ticket, read the knowledge base, or
download helper programs. When you
submit your first ticket, a help system
account will be created for you so that you
can then track the progress of the ticket.
