Internet Usage Policy in the ATRC Labs
Internet access is available in the
lab for research and educational purposes. Here is a
summary of our Internet rules:
- No reconfiguring of the
programs is allowed. Please do not change the way
programs operate, such as mail or browser settings.
- No downloading of files or
execution of downloaded programs is allowed.
- No illegal downloading of
copyright protected materials is allowed.
- No bit torrent downloading
of pirated media is allowed.
- No chat rooms or games are
allowed unless assigned by an instructor. (Proof of
assignment will be required.)
- No viewing of pornography is
permitted unless assigned by an instructor. (Proof
of assignment will be required.)
- Palomar College shall not be
held responsible for any information or programs
obtained from the Internet.
If you violate any of these rules,
or the
Student Code
of Conduct, you risk losing your right to use this
lab.
