The standard web development tool at Palomar College is Microsoft FrontPage.  As a best practice, we recommend that faculty use a simple FrontPage web to describe themselves and the classes they teach, and then use Blackboard to offer course content.  We offer a 2-part training series on Microsoft FrontPage, both hosted by Chris Norcross:

 
  FrontPage 1 - "Creating Your Own Web Site"

Introduction to web site creation and management.  In the course of the class each student creates a personal web page and is introduced to the concepts of growing the page into a site and managing the site.

  FrontPage 2 - "Advanced Web Site Concepts"

Tables are the single most important design and presentation tool on the web.  This class examines how to create and control tables, and how to use tables for page layout.  In addition, FrontPage makes it easy to gather information from the web using interactive forms.  This class describes how.
