  Adobe Acrobat Training

Adobe® Portable Document Format (PDF) is the de facto standard for electronic document distribution worldwide. Adobe PDF is a universal file format that preserves all the fonts, formatting, graphics, and color of any source document, regardless of the application and platform used to create it. Adobe PDF files are compact and can be shared, viewed, navigated, and printed exactly as intended by anyone with free Adobe Acrobat® Reader® software. You can convert any document to Adobe PDF using Adobe Acrobat.  Palomar College site licenses Acrobat.  The current version is Acrobat ver. 8 Pro.

We offer a 2-hour workshop on the basics of using Acrobat which will teach you the basics of how to create, manipulate, annotate, edit and secure PDF documents.  The workshop is hosted by Terry Gray:

Adobe Acrobat - "Creating and Using PDF Documents"

This workshop will present an overview of Adobe Acrobat version 7.  Our goal will be to gain a good basic understanding of the capabilities of Acrobat, and to practice hands-on creating, manipulating, annotating, and editing PDF documents, with special emphasis on optimizing for web publication and document security.

  • Wednesday, April 23, 2-4pm in LL-109
