This workshop is for those who need to know the basics of working with Windows XP, how to: 

• The Windows XP Desktop;
• The taskbar, with all its components;
• Controlling windows;
• Using My Computer and Windows Explorer;
• File and folder creation and management;
• Using removable devices, like CDs and USB drives;
• File associations, especially with reference to media players
• The Control Panel and other Windows control secrets;
• Basic Windows maintenance chores;
• Security and Windows updates.

Prerequisite: None, but basic keyboard and mouse skills would be helpful.
