and CCC Confer Partner to Deliver Web Conferencing to
California Community College System
Real-Time Web
Collaboration Environment Will Facilitate Teaching,
Learning and Meeting for 109 Campuses

announced that CCC Confer has selected Elluminate Live!
to provide enterprise-wide web conferencing for the
California Community College System, the largest higher
education system in the world. Committed to providing

environments, CCC Confer chose Elluminate Live! after an
extensive evaluation and competitive bid process.
Elluminate Live! was selected for its
high-quality participant experience, ease of use, ADA
compliance, session archiving, and audio capabilities
that include VoIP as well as support for a phone bridge
and teleconferencing. The product will be integrated
into the CCC Confer portal to facilitate use by the
California Community College System's 109 schools for
meeting, training and a wide variety of online classes.
Future plans for Elluminate Live! include its use in
online environments for tutoring, student services and
library services.

from a grant from the California Community Colleges
Chancellor's Office. The project was initially funded in
February 2001 to offer the CCC system a viable means to
meet and collaborate at a distance. CCC Confer was

the latest web conferencing technology, for all staff,
faculty and administrators in the California Community
Colleges system. It is ADA and Section 508 accessible.
