@ONE system holds free online class in "Teaching Online"

Are you thinking about teaching online and want to make the transition as smoothly as possible?  Sign up for the free online class, “Introduction to Online Teaching and Learning” - starting the week of July 10.  The class will run from July 10-August 4.  You’ll learn online techniques from both the instructor’s and student’s viewpoints and develop a plan to deliver your course online.

At the end of the class you’ll be able to:

  • Develop online, collaborative exercises with confidence
  • Accommodate different learning styles and multiple intelligences in your online classes
  • Develop Internet research skills and find web-based resources for online education
  • Identify course management systems and online teaching resources that will work for you, both on campus and beyond
  • Develop a plan for an online course or program

This is a four-week course. Course completion, which includes readings, online discussions, and assignments, will take a minimum of 10 hours per week. Find out more and register now at:

Optional academic credit for professional development is available for online courses through Fresno Pacific University. To receive these professional development units, you will need to fill out a separate registration
