Michael J. Skyhar, M.D. ,Dr. Skyhar completed his Residency at the University of California, San Diego and his Fellowship Training in Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery, under the direction of Russell Warren, M.D., team physician for the New York Giants. Dr. Skyhar has spent his time here working with several local area high schools as well as numerous Action Sports Stars. For the over 10 years now, Dr. Skyhar has provided a level of care for the Comets that rivals the best of professional teams. David A. Nishida, P.T., C.S.C.S. A graduate of the University of California, Davis and of CSU Fresno, David is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist along with being a Registered Physical Therapist. He specializes in sports medicine and provides on-field care for high school, collegiate, and professional athletes. David has worked with the Palomar College Athletic Training Staff for 18 years. For the last 20 years, David has practiced at North County & Physical Therapy and is a co-owner of the facility.
