2008 Men's Tennis Team

The 2007 men's tennis team finished the season 5-9 in the Pacific Coast Conference.
Their overall won-loss record was 6-13.

This year's 2008 team will be led by freshman's Jason Sinkoff (Torrey Pines) and DJ Jaehnig (Rancho Bernardo).  Kyle Anderson (Peninsula HS, Washington) is the only returning player from the 2007 team.  Kyle and Jason were selected as this year's co-captains.  Other team members are: Chris Jones, Travis Albini, Jake Peek, Andrew Buckner, Drew Logan, and Reuben Aguirre.

The team will open their 2008 season against Cerritos College on February 5 (Tuesday) at Cerritos College.  The men's team will host Saddleback College two days later for their first home match of the season.

The team will also be participating in the Pacific Coast Conference Tournament in April at the George Barnes Tennis Center (San Diego), and the Ojai Valley Invitational Tournament (Ventura-Ojai).  In May the team will travel to Riverside for the Regional Tournament, and visit The Claremont Club in Claremont, California for the State Tournament a week later.
