HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: All-State, All-District, All-County and All-Region for The Woodlands High. ... Caught 48 passes for 768 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior for the Highlanders in 2007. ... Missed much of his senior season of 2008 with an injury, breaking his leg in a passing league game. ... Was recruited by Air Force, Army, and North Texas, while Ball State and Wyoming also showed interest, according to the Houston Chronicle.
