SEASON: Became the starting quarterback the third
week of the season after Matt Christian was lost,
probably for the season, with a broken hand. ... Has
completed 44-of-67 pass attempts (with three
interceptions) for 476 yards and three touchdowns as of
Oct. 2, after the first four weeks of the season.
... Has a 65.7 completion percentage to rank No. 6 in
the state, after leading the state a week ago with a
73.2 percentage.... Came into the game in relief of starter
Matt Christian in the Comets' season-opening 55-0 win at
Southwestern and turned in an eye-opening performance in
his collegiate debut, completing 9-of-11 pass attempts
for 127 yards and two touchdowns. Hit Martavious Lee
with a 36-yard TD pass on his first college attempt and
also teamed up with tight end Blake Masoner on an 8-yard
TD pass. Also broke off as 30-yard run and finished the
game with 28 yards rushing on two carries. ... Was
7-for-9 passing for 79 yards, again replacing the
injured Christian during the game, in a 24-7 win over
Victor Valley on Sept. 12.Rushed for 47 yards on five
carries, with a long gain of 31 yards. ...
Appearing for the first time as Palomar's starter, was
12-for-18 for 128 yards passing and one touchdown and
also tacked on a 20-yard run in a 27-17 victory over San
Diego Mesa on Sept. 19. ... Was 16-for-29 passing (one
