2009 SEASON: Second on the team with 26 tackles (17 solo) as of Oct. 2, after four games. Also has a fumble recovery, an interception, two tackles for losses and has broken up four passes. ... Had four tackles (three solo) and broke up two passes in the Comets' 55-0 season-opening victory at Southwestern. ... Had seven tackles (six solo) and two tackles for losses in a 24-7 win over Victor Valley on Sept. 12. ... Contributed four tackles (two solo) as the Comets defeated San Diego Mesa 27-17 on Sept. 19, advancing to 3-0 on the season. ... Came back the following week to gain Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors after Palomar defeated College of the Desert 17-7 on Sept. 26 in Palm Desert to go to 4-0. Contributed nine tackles (si9x solo), an interception, a fumble recovery and two pass break-ups.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: First-team All-Dade County 6A-4A selection and named as the Outstanding Defensive Back at Miami Northwestern his senior season.
