PERSONAL: Full name is Tyler Talailevaosamoa Lavea. ... Born Aug. 28, 1985 at U.S. Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. ... Son of Telesa and Julie Lavea. ... Has two brothers, Jason and Taleso Jr. ... Lavea served a Mormon mission to Peru and speaks Spanish fluently.

2009 SEASON: Averaging 103.7 all-purpose yards as of Sept. 25, three weeks into the season, totaling 311 yards. ... Has rushed for 208 yards and two touchdowns on 38 carries,  with another TD called back. ... Has eight pass receptions for 71 yards and one touchdown. ...  Has returned one kickoff for 32 yards. ... Rushed for 25 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries and caught three passes for 27 yards on Sept. 5 in 55-0 season-opening victory at Southwestern. ... Rushed for 82 yards on eight carries and had two receptions for 14 yards in 24-7 win over Victor Valley on Sept.12.
