Steven Carroll in a 37-17 rout of San Diego Mesa on
Sept. 20. ... Had a 9-yard reception in a 47-41 win in
four overtimes over College of the Desert in a battle of
unbeaten teams on Sept. 27 as the Comets handed the
Roadrunners their first regular-season loss since 2006.
