2008 SEASON: Was offered scholarships by Nevada, San Diego State, Wyoming and Colorado State before the season even began and is drawing recruiting interest from Connecticut.  ... Had 23 catches for 234 yards and a touchdown for the season. ... Contributed  three catches for 13 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown from quarterback Steven Carroll, in season-opening 21-19 win over Southwestern on Sept.6.. ... Had two catches for five yards in 16-0 victory over Victor Valley on Sept. 13. ... Playing with an injured foot, caught two balls for 46 yards, including a spectacular 35-yard reception when he was drilled by a defender, in 37-17 rout of San Diego Mesa on Sept. 20. ... Had two receptions for 16 yards on Sept. 27 as the Comets defeated College of the Desert 47-41 in four overtimes in a battle of unbeaten teams on Sept. 27, handing the Roadrunners their first regular-season loss since 2006. ... Had five receptions for 34 yards vs. Grossmont on Oct. 4. ...Had two catches for 50 yards vs. Saddleback on Oct. 11, including a 42-yard reception from Matt Christian to set up a touchdown. ... Had a 9-yard reception in a 38-14 win at Santa Ana on Oct. 18. ... Caught two passes for 21 yards in a 20-7 win over Long Beach City College on Oct. 25. ... Caught one ball for 5 yards against Fullerton on Nov. 1. ... Had three catches for 35 yards as the Comets defeated Cerritos 38-33 in the Golden Empire Bowl on Nov. 22 in Bakersfield, concluding an 8-3 season.

2007 SEASON: Caught 11 passes for 241 yards and two touchdowns for the Comets, averaging 21.9 yards per catch.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Helped Oceanside to back-to-back San Diego Section CIF championships playing for coach John Carroll. ... Had 36 receptions for 648 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior during the 2006 season. ... Caught seven passes for 136 yards and two TDs in a 50-13 victory over West Hills in a CIF semifinal game. ... Had a long reception of 58 yards as the Pirates routed Eastlake 45-7 in the finals. ... Caught five passes for 114 yards and two TDs, averaging 22.8 yards per catch, as a junior in 2005. ... Had a long catch of 43  yards in a 44-27 victory over Rancho Buena Vista.

OTHER HIGH SCHOOL SPORT: Track & field. ... Ran 10.56 in the 100 meters (fifth fastest time in California and 12th best on the all-time CIF-San Diego Section list) as a senior for Oceanside. Also clocked a 21.43 in the 200 meters to lead the San Diego Section.
