SEASON: Had 22 tackles (15 solo), a
blocked kick, and a tackle for a loss as a true freshman. ... Had a solo tackle in 16-0 win over Victor
Valley on Sept.13. ... Had two tackles (one solo) and
blocked a punt as the Comets routed San Diego Mesa 37-17
on Sept. 20. ... Contributed two tackles (one solo) on
Sept.27 as the Comets defeated College of the Desert
47-41 in a battle of unbeaten teams. ... Had two solo
tackles against Saddleback on Oct. 11. ... Had three
tackles (one solo) in a 38-14 win at Santa Ana on Oct.
18. ... Contributed a solo tackle in a 20-7 win over
Long Beach City College on Oct. 25. ... Tied for the
team lead with seven tackles, including a game-high five
solo tackles and a tackle for a loss, vs. Fullerton on

SCHOOL FOOTBALL: All-Sunbelt League selection at linebacker
under coach Tony Peralta at Elsinore High School, where
he also played tight end. ... Recorded 120 tackles for
the Tigers during his senior season of 2006, including
50 solo. ... Also had five tackles, a fumble recovery
and a blocked punt. ... Had 14 tackles in a 35-21
victory over Hemet on Oct. 30, 12 tackles vs. Temescal
Canyon of Elsinore on Sept. 15 and 12 tackles in a 16-0
win over West Valley of Hemet on Oct. 13.
OTHER HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS: Placed fifth at 189 pounds in the
CIF-Southern Section Eastern Division in wrestling as a
