2008 SEASON: All-Southern Conferende honorable mention and was voted as the Comets' Most Improved Player. ... Started at corner for the Comets. ... Had 44 tackles (31 solo), three interceptions, and forced two fumbles fumbles and broke up three passes. ... Contributed an assist in season-opening 21-19 victory over Southwestern on Sept. 6. ... Contributed three tackles (two solo) in a 37-7 victory over San Diego Mesa on Sept. 20. ... Had three tackles (two solo) as the Comets outlasted College of the Desert 47-41 in four overtimes on Sept. 27, handing the Roadrunners their first regular-season loss since the 2006 season. ... Contributed two tackles (one solo) and broke up a pass vs. Grossmont on Oct. 4. ... Had his best game to date on Oct. 11 vs. Saddleback, when he recorded six tackles (five solo) and forced a fumble at the Palomar 1-yard line, preventing a Gaucho touchdown. ... His two first-half interceptions helped set the tone as the Comets took a 35-0 halftime lead and won 38-14 at Santa Ana on Oct. 18.
