2006-2007  INDIVIDUAL PLAYER PICTURES AND PROFILES

#4  DANIELLE LEVASSEUR

DANIELLE LEVASSEUR - 5'3 sophomore guard from Temecula Valley High School.  She was a Pacific Coast All-Conference player as a freshman.  She helped lead the 2005-06 team to a second place finish in the Pacific Coast Conference.  She averaged 4.6 assists per game while shooting 39% from the 3 point range.  She had a game high of 16 points and returns this season to lead as a team captain.  She is majoring in Criminal Justice. 

 

#14 PHYLICIA TEMPLETON

PHYLICIA TEMPLETON - 6'3 Sophomore Center from Escondido High School.  She was instrumental in helping the 2005-06 team finish second in the Pacific Coast Conference. At Escondido she was the MVP in her junior year and senior year, earning her a 2nd team All-Valley league award.  She lead the Comets last season with a 51% FG shooting average and 1.3 blocks per game.  Her major is undecided.

 

#20   ANITA COOK

ANITA COOK - 5'8 guard from La Costa Canyon High School.  Anita played on the 2004-2005 Palomar College women's basketball team.  Anita is a 3 point shooter and offers experience to the current team.  She has received numerous awards in American Sign Language while majoring in Criminal Justice here at Palomar College. 

 

 

#32    BREAWN OLIVER

BREAWN OLIVER - 5'7 guard from Rancho Buena Vista High School.  Breawn offers quickness and enthusiasm to the team.  She has 3 point range which will add perimeter depth as well as great defensive speed.  She is majoring in Architecture and plans to attend SDSU or UCLA.

 

 

#22   LYNN HARJU

LYNN HARJU - 5'5 guard from Escondido but played her senior year in Chandler, AZ.  She was an honor roll student in high school. She was a MVP, 2nd Team All League award winner, League Champion, and CIF Semi-finalist during high school.  She has outstanding 3 point range complimented by passing  precision.  She plays the piano and is majoring in Nursing.

 

 

#12 JADE SIMMONS

JADE SIMMONS - 5’3 guard from Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta, CA.  A four-year varsity letter winner and two-year scholar-athlete award winner, Jade was 2nd team all Southwestern league her Junior year, 1st team all league her Senior season and was named to the Californian’s Honorable Mention “All Valley” team her senior season.  She averaged 7.5 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 4.8 apg, and 3.4 spg.  Vista Murrieta went 18-8 this season before losing to San Clemente in the CIF tournament.

 

 

# 15 CARLIE STONE

CARLIE STONE- 5’5 guard, teammate of Simmons from Vista Murrieta. A two-year varsity performer, four-year academic award winner, Carlie was one of the top three point-shooting specialist in the Valley. Carlie was 2nd team all Southwestern league and was named to the Californian’s Honorable Mention “All Valley” team her senior season. She averaged 5.7 ppg, 3.0 rpg and 2.3 apg. 

  

 

#23 SABRINA GONZALEZ

Sabrina Gonzalez - 5’10, guard from Carlsbad high School.  A four-year varsity letter winner and two year scholar-athlete award winner, Sabrina was 2nd team Avocado league, 1st team all North County and 3rd team all CIF her Junior year. Her Senior season, she was 1st team Avocado league and MVP North County All Stars. She averaged 14.0 ppg, 7.6 rpg, 5.1 apg, and 4.9 spg her senior year. Carlsbad finished this year 16-13 before losing in the playoffs to eventual CIF Champion San Diego. Sabrina was selected by her teammates to serve as a team captain this season.

 

 

#54 JENN WILKINSON

Jenn Wilkinson - 6’1 post player who competed for Carlsbad with teammate Gonzalez.  Jenn was a varsity letter winner for two seasons before taking part of her senior year off to focus on academics. A solid inside presence, she averaged 4ppg and 4.9 rpg.  Along with Gonzalez, was a member of the 2005 Division I CIF championship team at Carlsbad.

 

 

# 40 GENNA GODFREY

GENNA GODFREY - 5’8 - forward for Mission Hills Highs School in San Marcos, Genna was a two-year varsity letter winner who carried a 3.8 gpa. She was a starter for Mission Hills as a perimeter scoring threat and received the team’s “Shooter” award.

 

 

#24 WHITNEY BUZBEE

whitney buzbee - 5’6 guard from Ramona High School, Whitney is a three-year varsity letter winner, and two-year All Academic award winner.  She was named best defensive player her junior year and Most Inspirational her senior season.  Whitney was Captain and a starter for Ramona who went 22-7 and lost in the CIF semifinals to eventual winner Mt Carmel.

 

 

#30 ALYSON HALEY

alyson haley - 6’0 - post player from Temecula Valley High School (and former teammate of current Palomar All Conference player Danielle Levasseur), Alyson was a three-year varsity letter winner.  She was MVP of the Murrieta Valley Tourney, 2nd team all Southwestern league and was named to the Californian’s Honorable Mention “All Valley” team her senior season.  She averaged 8.7 ppg, 6.6 rpg, and 1.3 apg.

 

 

#34 REINER BOLOR

reiner bolor - 5’7 - guard from  Chaparral High School.  Reiner was a four-year varsity letter winner; her senior year she was 1st Team All Southwestern League, Player of the Year (at CHS) and was named to the Californian 1st team "All Valley" Team (2004-2005).

 

 

# 10 KELLI BRULL

kelli brull - 6’0 post player from Torrey Pines High School, Kelli was a four-year varsity letter winner and three-year scholar athlete recipient.  Kelli was Captain of this year’s squad that won the Palomar league and was a CIF semi-finalist (the past two seasons).

 

 

# 44 AUDREY GREEN

Audrey Green6’4 post player who transferred from San Diego State.  Audrey was a three-year varsity letter winner at San Marcos High School, three time all league performer averaging 11.2 ppg her senior season before accepting a basketball scholarship to attend SDSU. A shot blocking specialist, she set a San Diego County record in 2003 with 18 blocks in a single contest.  Audrey was selected by her teammates to serve as a team captain this season.
