PERSONAL: Born Dec. 3, 1993 in Portland, OR. ... Son of John and Kami Thompson. ... Brother of Nathan Thompson (23) and Rachel Thompson (14).

2012-2013 SEASON: Has played in 18 games for the Comets as of Feb. 5, averaging 4.3 points per game and shooting 42.6 percent from the field. ... Has made 45.0 percent of his 3-pointers (9-for-20). ... Scored 10 points to help the Comets down Riverside City College 59-55 in the quarterfinals of the 41st Riverside Holiday Touranment on Dec. 6. ... Again came off the bench to score 8 points, all from the free-throw line, in a 77-69 victory  over MiraCosta on Jan. 11. Sank 6 free throws in the game's final 1 minute, 11 seconds to put the game away. ... Dished off 4 assists in a 98-72 victory over San Diego Mesa on Jan. 25. ... Scored 8 points off the bench as Palomar raced past Cuyamaca 95-75 on Jan. 30.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-time all-league honorable mention selection for coach roy Berry at Benson Tech, a 5A school. ... In his senior season of 2011-12, the Techmen were ranked No. 5 in Oregon, going 25-3 on the season and 14-0 in league. ... Played in the Joyce All-Star Classic in Joyce, WA after the season.
