PERSONAL: Born Dec. 26, 1993 in Wildomar, CA. ... Son of Jaymes and Rachel Roedl. Brother of McKenzie and McKayla Roedl.

2012-2013 SEASON: Has played in 16 games for the Comets after being activated from red-shirt status and is contributing more and more as Pacific Coast Athletic Conference race heats up. ... Shooting 41.0 from the field (16-for-39) and 43.8 percent on 3-pointers (14-for-32) as of Feb. 5. ...  Has only 6 turnovers all season. ... An explosive leaper, he can easily dunk the ball from different angles in various situations, including in a crowd. ... Came off the bench to score 17 points in a 99-96 overtime loss at Imperial Valley on Jan. 9, when he buried 5-of-7 3-point attempts. ... Was 3-for-3 on 3-pointers and scored 10 points as the Comets buried Miramar 95-59 on Jan. 23. ... Scored 11 points, going 4-for-4 from the field including a 3-for-3 performance from behind the 3-point arc in a 95-75 victory over Cuyamaca on Jan. 30. ... Contributed 4 rebounds from his guard position in a 76-51 rout of Southwestern on Feb. 1.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played three varsity seasons for coach Mike Young and coach Mike Hickey at Great Oak, being named second-team All-Southwest League as a junior in 2010-11 and first-team All-Southwest League as a senior during the 2011-12 season. ... Averaged 9.7 points per game as a junior with a high game of 26 points, nearly half the Wolfpack's points for the game, on Jan. 28 in a 53-48 victory over Murrieta Mesa. ... As a senior, Roedl averaged 15.3 points per game, including 32 points in a 76-74 win over Long Beach Millikan in triple overtime on Nov. 30, 30 points in a 65-59 victory over Redlands East Valley on Jan. 3 when he was 8-for-10 on 3-pointers, and 30 points in a 63-58 loss to Vista Murrieta on Feb. 2. ... Finished the season with 69 3-pointers and made 59-of-73 free throws for a percentage of 80.8. ... Played in three All-Star games after the season, Riverside County, Riverside County vs. San Diego County and Riverside County vs. San Bernardino County.

ACADEMICS: Undeclaired major. ... Carried a 3.4 grade-point average at Great Oak, one of the highest-ranked public high schools academically in Southern California, and was recipient of his team's scholar athlete award.
