2012-2013 SEASON: Has played in 23 of the Comets' 24 games as of Feb. 5, sparking the Comets off the bench and also contributing as a part-time starter. ... Shooting 74.3 percent on free throws (26-for-35). ... Dished off 5 assists to help the Comets open the season with a 90-63 rout of Barstow to begin the Frank Garcia Tip-Off Tournament at College of the Desert on Nov. 8. ... Scored 10 points and dished off 6 assists in a 91-85 win over Fullerton on Nov. 23 in the first round of the Palomar Thanksgiving Tornament. ... Scored 15 points as the Comets defeated Los Angeles Harbor 75-62 in the semifinals on Nov. 24 to reach the championship game of the tournament. ... Contributed 9 points and 4 rebounds from his guard position in a 76-51 rout of Southwestern on Feb. 1.

2011-2012 SEASON: Played in 19 games for Palomar as a red-shirt freshman, making 20-of-24 free throws to lead the team with an 83.3 percentage and shooting 32.4 on 3-pointers (11-for-34).

COLLEGE: Originally went to Miramar Community College, where he began his post-high school career as a gray shirt in 2009-10.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered for three seasons at San Marcos High School under coach Dante Carey, a former Palomar player. ... Was a second-team all-league selection as a senior during the 2008-09 season. ... Averaged 4.8 assists a game, with a high of 10 in a 64-59 win over Orange Glen on Jan. 9.

ACADEMICS: Art Education major. ... Had a 3.44 grade-point average for the Fall 2012 semester. ... Carried a 3.45 grade-point average in high school.
