the Year as Morse went 9-1 to tie for the league
championship, was 22-7 overall and reached the CIF-San
Diego Section Division II semifinals where the Tigers
were eliminated by eventual section champion and state
finalist La Costa Canyon. ... Had 14 points, 12 rebounds
and 9 assists in a 62-61 win over Westview in the
quarterfinals. ... Averaged 14.9 points and 7.9 rebounds
for coach Bob Sumler's team. ... Scored in double
figures in 30 or Morse's 34 games with a high of 26
points in a 63-53 win over San Diego High School on Feb.
