2012-2013 SEASON: Has played in 22 of 24 games for the Comets. ... Averaging 6.0 points per game as of Feb. 5. ... Shooting 43.0 percent from the field and is a perfect 14-for-14 from the free-throw line. ... Is second on the team with 32 3-pointers, shooting 40.0 percent from behind the arc, tied for No. 3 on the team. ... Scored 12 points, draining four 3-pointers, in Comets' season-opening 96-63 victory over Glendale Arizona on Nov. 8 in the Frank Garcia Tip-Off Tournament at College of the Desert. ... Tallied 14 points as the Comets defeated Los Angeles Trade Tech 80-68 in the third-place game on Nov. 10. ... Helped lead Palomar to a 92-66 win over Barstow in the first round of the Fullerton Holiday Tournament on Nov. 15. ... Helped spark the Comets to a 75-60 win over San Diego City College on Jan. 18, playing an outstandiong floor game, scoring 8 first-half points and dropping in two long 3-pointers at the end of the half to put Palomar up by 17 points. ... Scored 15 points, going 5-for-8 from the field, 3-for-3 from behind the 3-point arc and 2-for-2 on free throws in a 95-59 rout of Miramar on Jan. 23. ... Knocked down three NBA-range 3-pointers in the first half on his only attempts from behind the arc in the game to help the Comets down San Diego Mesa 98-72 on Jan. 25. ... Scored 13 points in a 76-51 rout of Southwestern on Feb. 1, sinking 3 3-pointers, one from 8 feet behind the arc, was 4-for-4 on free throws and dished off 4 assists.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was the 2011-12 Eastern League Player of the Year as Morse went 9-1 to tie for the league championship, was 22-7 overall and reached the CIF-San Diego Section Division II semifinals where the Tigers were eliminated by eventual section champion and state finalist La Costa Canyon. ... Had 14 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists in a 62-61 win over Westview in the quarterfinals. ... Averaged 14.9 points and 7.9 rebounds for coach Bob Sumler's team. ... Scored in double figures in 30 or Morse's 34 games with a high of 26 points in a 63-53 win over San Diego High School on Feb. 3. Drained 6 3-pointers against the Cavers and also had five three pointers in victories over El Camino, Serra and Mira Mesa. ... Was in double figures in rebounds in eight games, including 13 boards vs. Foothills in a 79-51 win on Dec. 7 and Serra in a 79-63 victory on Feb. 14. ... Blocked 4 shots in a 58-44 win vs. Granite Hills on Dec. 1. ... Played in the San Diego All-Star Game after the season. ... Was a two-year varsity player for the Tigers.
