2002 SEASON: Appeared in 33 games for the Comets, primarily as the starting left fielder or starting designated hitter. ... Batted .373, third best on the team behind only Kyle Floquet and Sean Richardson. ... Batted .365 in the Pacific Coast Conference and gained all-conference honorable mention recognition. ... Went 8-for-12 for the week ending Aril 20, going 3-for-4 against San Diego Mesa on April 16, 3-for-4 vs. Mesa again when he homered, tripled, doubled and drove in five runs on April 18 and 2-for-4 vs. Grossmont on April 20. ... Hit a two-run double in the bottom of the first inning in his first community college game Feb. 9 in the Comets' 7-5 victory over Long Beach City College. ... Went 3-for-5 with two RBIs in a 12-6 win over Golden West on Feb. 12. ... His pinch-hit RBI double in the bottom of the sixth inning helped spark a rally that carried the Comets to a 13-4 come-from-behind victory over Imperial Valley. ... Played a key role in Palomar's 7-5 win over defending conference champion and current leader Grossmont on March 19, going 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. ... In the Palomar Easter Series tournament, went 2-for-3 with three RBIs in a 9-4 win over Mt. SAC on March 26. ... Went 2-for-4 to help the Comets beat San Diego City College 3-0 on the road on April 2, and was 2-for-4 with two steals on April 11 to play a kety role in a 4-0 win over Imperial Valley. ... Finished the home season with a bang on April 30, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs in a 10-3 victory over Southwestern, then performed spectacularly at the plate in the Comets' first two games of the Southern California Regionals.

2002 POSTSEASON: Banged out six hits in the Comets' first two games of the Southern California Regionals in Glendale, and finished the weekend by going 6-for-14 for three games. ... Went 2-for-5 with a double against Glendale on May 10, and was 4-for-6 with a double as the Comets knocked off Los Angeles Harbor 15-14 on May 11.

2001 SEASON: Red-shirted at Sacramento City College.

HIGH SCHOOL: Starred in football at Jesuit High School in Sacramento and, for his last three years of high school, at Folsom High. Folsom High did not field a baseball team so he did not play high school baseball.
