2002 SEASON: Has been utilized as a backup third baseman and outfielder, as a designated hitter and as a pinch-hitter. ... Went 2-for-5 with an RBI as the Comets' DH on Feb. 15 against College of the Siskiyous. ... Had a key single during the Comets' five-run eighth inning rally on March 23 that gave them an 8-7 come-from-behind victory over San Diego City College. ... Also made a big-time defensive play in that game, crashing into the left field fence to catch the ball and rob the Knights' Juan Razo of an extra-base hit in the seventh inning.
