 California Community College Cross Country Results/Rankings

Jennifer Williams is the Comets' women's Cross-Country Coach. Williams, who also will coach women's Track & Field in the Spring, comes to Palomar from Cuyamaca College, where she was head cross country and track & field coach for seven seasons. She guided the Coyotes to five consecutive conference track championships and won conference Coach of the Year . Williams starred on the community college level at Santa Ana College, where she placed ninth in the state cross country finals in 1996, and on the four-year college level at San Diego State and San Francisco State. Jennifer earned her M.S. in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University in the Fall 2005. She set an SDSU stadium record in 2000 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and placed 67th in the 2001 USA Cross Country Championships at Mobile, AL. Williams also  was an all-conference 5,000-meter runner at San Francisco State.


Hugh Gerhardt An avid runner for more than 20 years, Hugh was inducted into the California Community College Volleyball Coaches Hall Fame and was the Head Women's Volleyball coach at Cuesta College for  nine years. Gerhardt graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with an B.S./M.S. in Physical Education. Today Hugh lives in Carlsbad with his wife Cheryl, daughter Elizabeth and sons Ryan and Tyler.
