2009 SEASON: All-Pacific Coast Conference honorable mention. ... Has drawn heavy attention from professional scouts and is ranked as the No. 10 community college prospect in the nation, at any position, for the June 2009 draft by PG Crosschecker of Cedar Rapids. ...  Returned the next-to-last week of the regular season after missing more than a month due to a strained hamstring. ... Pitched six innings of four-hit, shutout ball in a 7-1 win over San Diego City College on March 10. ... Threw a scoreless, hitless inning and struck out two batters on April 21 as the Comets downed San Diego Mesa 16-1 to clinch at least a tie for the conference championship with four games remaining. ... Struck out two batters in one inning as the Comets downed Citrus 5-2 on May 9 to complete a two-game sweep of the Owls in the teams' first-round Southern California best-of-3 series. ... Pitched 1/3 of a scorless inning against Santa Ana in the Palomar Super Regional on May 16. ... Threw two shutout innings in relief, striking out two, in an 11-1 win over Rio Hondo on Feb. 16 as he and four other pitchers combined on a six-hitter. ... Went 2-for-4, doubled and drove in two runs in a 5-2 win over San Diego Mesa on March 13. ... Pitched one-hit shutout ball with three strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings in a 10-4 victory over San Joaquin Delta on March 20. ... Allowed one run in 2 1/3 innings as the Comets won 9-8 at Grossmont on March 27. ... Doubled to drive in two runs in a 10-9 win over San Diego City College on April 10. ... Pitched two innings without allowing an earned run vs. Pacific Coast Conference Southwestern on April 26. ... Threw three innings of no-hit, shutout ball against Cuesta, the No. 2 seed in the Southern California playoffs, to help send the game to extra innings on May 10 before tiring in the 10th.

HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Played four seasons at Fallbrook and was first-team All-Avocado League, second-team All-North County, team MVP and team Defensive Player of the Year.
