2009 SEASON: First-team Community College All-American, first-team All-State and a first-team All-Pacific Coast Conference selection. ... Won Palomar's Silver Slugger Award, presented to the team's Outstanding Hitter. ... Batted .455 to lead the both the team and the conference at the conclusion of the regular season. ... Hit .381 in six post-season games and finished with a .442 on the year, ranking him No. 3 on Palomar's all-time single-season list. ... Batted .596 for April (25-for-42), when he had six home runs, five doubles, 16 RBIs, 15 runs scored and a 1.143 slugging percentage in 12 games . ... Appeared in 43 games on the year and started 35.. ... Was the Comets' regular first baseman. ... Went 3-for-4 with two RBIs in the game. ... Was 2-for-2, walked and drove in a run vs. Grossmont,  which has been ranked as high as No. 3 in Southern California, on March 3. ... Delivered a pinch-hit, three-run double in the eighth inning to lift the Comets to a 5-3 win at Mt. SAC on March 15. ... Slugged a three-run home run over the center field fence to highlight a six-run third inning as the Comets pinned a 9-2 loss over Southwestern, which came into the game ranked No. 1 in Southern California, on March 21 at Myers Field. ... Beat Grossmont 5-4 with a towering walk-off home run in the 10th inning on March 26 as the Comets, ranked No. 3 in Southern California, broke a tie for first place with the Griffins, who came in ranked No. 4. For the game, went 2-for-5. ... Hit a two-run homer over the left field fence at Grossmont in the first inning and wound up going 2-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs scored as the Comets won 10-7 to open a two-game lead in the conference over the second-place Griffins.... San Jacinto, which came into the game with a 27-5 record and a 12-game winning streak. ... Went 4-for-5, doubled and drove in a run in a 7-2 win over San Diego City City College on April 16. ... Slammed a two-run home run over the scoreboard in left field and wound up going 2-for-3 as the Comets defeated San Diego Mesa 7-6 on the road on April 18. ... Was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs on April 21 as Palomar clinched at least than a tie for the conference championship with a 16-1 victory over Mesa. ... Went 2-for-5 at Southwestern on April 23. ... Went 2-for-3, doubled and scored two runs on April 25 as the Comets downed the Jaguars again 4-2 to clinch the conference title outright. ... Was 2-for-4 vs. Grossmont on April 28. ... Went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBIs at Grossmont on May 1. ... Singled, walked twice and scored two runs as he went 1-for-3 in the Comets' 10-2 victory over Citrus on May 8 to begin the post-season. ... Was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI on May 9 as Palomar beat the Owls again 5-2 to complete a two-game sweep of their Southern California Regional Round 1 series. ... Was 2-for-4, doubled and scored two runs in a 7-3 win over Long Beach City College in a Palomar Super Regional game on May 16. ... Went 2-for-4, doubled and scored twice in the Super Regional championship game against Santa Ana on May 17.
