SEASON: One of the Comets' fastest players and
among their best defensive players. ... Returned to
action on March 31 after being sidelined for 19 days
with a strained hamstring ... Played in 39 games, starting 17,
during the season, seeing action in center, left and right
field. ... Hit .301 (.320 during the regular season). ... Batted .436 for 39 at-bats in Pacific Coast Conference
games. ... Had four assists from the outfield, all of
them in conference play. ... Drove in two runs with a fourth-inning single
in a 12-7 victory over Los Angeles Pierce on Feb. 12.
... Went 2-for-6 as the Comets routed Rio Hondo 22-2 on
the road on Feb. 14. ... Was 2-for-4 in an 11-1 victory
at Cerritos on Feb. 18. ... Went 2-for-4 and drove in two

at the time and the play kept the Arabs from extending

steal on March 10 in a 7-1 victory over San Diego City
College .
Threw out the Knights' Louis Cazares from center as
he tried to score from second on a single in the third
inning... Came back with a pinch-hit triple against San Diego
City
on March 12 on the road. ... Singled, was hit by a pitch
and scored a run in a four-inning appearance when he
returned from the hamstring on March 31 in a 25-2
victory at Imperial Valley. ... Went 3-for-5 on April 14
as the Comets beat host San Diego City 17-5 to
stretch their conference lead over second-place
Grossmont to three games with seven to play. ... Singled
and scored the winning run in the top of the ninth
inning as the Comets rallied to beat San Diego Mesa 7-6
on April 18. ... Singled through the left side but was
left stranded at third in the fifth inning of the
Comets' 10-7 loss to Santa Ana in the Southern
California Super Regional championship game on May 17.
2008
SEASON: Appeared in 37 games as a true
freshman , starting 12. ... Started his community
college career with a bang on Feb. 1, in the Comets'
third game of the season, a 10-0 victory over Ventura.
Went 2-for-3, doubled and drove in two runs. ... Went
2-for-4 and scored a run against Fullerton on Feb. 7.
... Singled to lead off the game at Mt. San Jacinto on
Feb. 14 but was left stranded.... Was 2-for-4 and scored
two runs vs. Mt. San Jacinto on March 19. ... Entering
the game as a pinch-runner in the ninth inning and scored
the winning run on Tyler Saladino's single as the Comets
beat Grossmont 9-8 on the road on March 27. ... Tripled
in two runs in a 13-2 victory over Imperial Valley on
April 28

SCHOOL BASEBALL: Batted .512 as a freshman, .526 as a
sophomore, .500 as a junior and .368 as a senior. ...
