2008 SEASON: First-team All-Pacific Coast Conference
selection. ... After a brief stint as a starter earlier
in the season, returned to his familiar role as a closer
and set-up man led the conference with seven saves. ... Was 1-1 with a 2.40 ERA
and seven saves for conference games . ... His save
total ranks him second on the all-time Palomar list and
ties the Comets' record for conference games. ... Started
the Comets' season opener at Cypress on Jan. 26.

March 6 when he got the Comets out of a two-on, none-out
situation in the eighth inning and went on to throw two

Diego City College. ... Came right back with his third
save against the Knights on March 8, pitching 1 1/3
innings of shutout ball as Palomar won 4-2. ... Notched
save No. 4 on March 25 when he came on in the ninth
inning and got the game's final two outs in a 7-4 win
over Grossmont. ... Came right
back with his fifth save on March 27, retiring Grossmont
with a hitless, scoreless ninth inning as the Comets won
9-8 on the road. ... Pitched a scoreless ninth inning in
a 6-2 victory on the road against San Diego City College
on April 8. ... Picked up the win on April 10 as the
Comets rallied in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat
the Knights 10-9. Threw one-hit shutout ball over the
last 1 1/3 innings, retiring the Knights with a 1-2-3
ninth. ... Pitched a scoreless ninth inning to close out
an 8-4 win over San Diego Mesa on April 17. ... Came
right back on April 19 to pick up his sixth save in an
11-6 win at Grossmont that clinched no worse than a tie
for second place for the Comets. Came into the game with
one out in the eighth inning to stop a six-run Grossmont
inning without further damage, then through a scoreless
ninth inning. ... Notched save No. 7 when he came on in
the ninth inning and turned in a hitless, scoreless
performance as the Comets knocked off Pacific Coast
Conference champion Southwestern on April 24 on the
road.

appearing in a team-leading 20 games and compiling a an

scoreless innings vs. Riverside Community College,
ranked No. 2 in the nation, on Feb. 9. ... Pitched 2/3

... Threw four relief innings of one-hit, shutout ball
in a 2-0 pitchers' duel loss to Santa Ana on Feb. 21.
... Pitched 2/3 of an inning of scoreless relief against
San Diego Mesa on March 3. ... Had a scoreless relief
inning in a 7-0 victory over San Diego City College on
March 6. ... Shut out Southwestern in a two-inning stint
as the Comets beat the Jaguars 11-6 in 12 innings on the
road on March 8. ... Pitched shutout ball over the last
1 1/3 innings, giving up one hit, in a 9-5 win at
Grossmont on March 13. ... Came back on March 15 to
throw 1 2/3 innings of one-hit, scoreless ball in a 3-1
victory over the Griffins, setting up Cameron Aspaas' save.
... Threw 1 2/3 scoreless relief innings in a 4-3,
12-inning win at San Diego Mesa on March 27. ... Came in
to record the last out of the game with a strikeout on
April 19, notching the save as the Comets defeated
Grossmont 4-2. ... Pitched two innings of one-hit,
scoreless ball on April 26 as he combined with Nick
Vincent and Jeff Ibarra to shut out conference champion
Mesa 6-0.
HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Compiled an earned run average of 0.99
over 36 innings as a senior in 2006 as he helped lead
Poway to the CIF-San Diego Section Division I
championship. ... Was 5-3 with eight saves. ... Helped
pitch the Titans to the Palomar League title in 2005.
... Was three-time "Pitcher of the Year" for the Titans.
