Went 2-for-5 in a 3-2 loss at first-place Southwestern on March 29. ... Went 2-for-4, doubled, stole a base and scored twice as the Comets downed Imperial 14-2 on April 5. ... Was 2-for-3 with a double in a 6-2 win over San Diego City College on the road on April 8. ... Went 2-for-4 and doubled as the Comets defeated the Knights 10-9 on April 10. ... Got down a perfect bunt down the third-base line in a sacrifice situation when the pitcher had to eat the ball, loading the bases with none out in the bottom of the eighth inning, as the Comets scored five runs to come back and beat Mesa 8-4 on April 17. ... Went 2-for-5, tripled and scored a run as the Comets knocked off Pacific Coast Conference champion Southwestern April 24 on the road. ... Doubled, walked, was hit by a pitch and scored three runs in a rematch with the Jaguars on April 26. ... Went 3-for-4 as the Comets defeated Santa Barbara City College 3-0 to begin the Southern California Regional Playoffs on May 6. ... Was 2-for-4 with a double in the first game of a Regional series against No. 2 seed Cuesta College on May 9 in San Luis Obispo. ... Went straight back and hauled in a long drive by the Cougars' Brian Farris the following day, robbing Farris of an extra-base hit and helping send the game to extra innings.

2007 SEASON: Batted.271 playing in 40 games and starting 36, primarily in center field and usually as the Comets' leadoff hitter. ... Also started in left field and right field. ... Stole eight bases on nine attempts to lead the club. ... Had six doubles, two triples and two home runs, driving in 19 runs. ... Reached base as a hit batter 12 times, best on the club. ... Hit .280 in Pacific Coast Conference games. ... Homered to drive in two runs to jump-start the Comets to a 6-1 victory over Riverside Community College, ranked No. 2 in the nation at the time, on Feb. 7. ... Went 2-for-4 in a rematch with the Tigers on Feb. 9. ... Went 2-for-4, walked twice, scored three runs and drove in one in a 15-13 victory over Citrus on Feb. 10. ... Drew three walks and scored two runs in the Comets' 9-5 win at Grossmont on March 13. ... Went 2-for-5 with his second home run, a double and five RBIs in a 14-2 win at Imperial Valley on March 20. ... Went 3-for-6 in a 4-3, 12-inning victory at San Diego Mesa on March 27. ... Drew three walks and scored three runs in a 9-2 win over San Diego City College on March 29. ... Went 2-for-4 with an RBI against Golden West on April 3. ... Was 2-for-4, doubled and drove in a run on April 5 as the Comets pinned a 9-8 loss on Chaffey, which entered the game with a 24-9 record. ... Went 3-for-5 with a triple and an RBI agains\t Southwestern on April 10. ... Went 2-for-3 vs. the Jaguars on April 12. ... Reasched base three times as a hit batter in the first three innings at Grossmont on April 17. Also singled and drove in a run on a ground ball in the game. ... Went 2-for-5 with an RBI in an 11-3 victory at Imperial Valley on April 21. ... Went 2-for-4 and doubled in a 16-0 rout of Imperial Valley on April 24.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Ryan Gallego, a former Comet, at Mission Hills High. ... Batted .420 as a junior and .295 as a senior, with 20 steals. ... Holds the Grizzlies' stolen base record. ... Team captain and Most Improved Player award winner at Mission Hills.
