SEASON: Played in 40 games and started 25 of them,
primarily as the Comets' starting right fielder. ...
Very good defensively with a plus arm. ... Gontributed
seven doubles, a home run and 17 RBIs. ... Went 2-for-5, doubled
and drove in two runs in a 10-0 rout of Ventura on Feb.
1. ... Was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs against
Fullerton on Feb. 7. ... Went 2-for-4,
doubled and drove in a run as the Comets won 8-6 at
Grossmont on Feb. 28. ... Went 2-for-4, slugged a
two-run home run and drove in three runs in a 9-8 road
victory over the Griffins on March 27. ... Gave the
Comets a 10-9 victory over San Diego City College in the
bottom of the ninth inning on April 10 when he hit a
towering double into the right-centerfield gap to drive
in the tying and winning runs. The hit came with two
outs and with two strikes, leaving the Knights standing.
... Came off the bench to draw a walk in the bottom of
the eighth inning on April 17 as the Comets rallied for
five runs to beat San Diego Mesa 8-4. ... Drove in the
first run of the game and the eventual game-winner with
a sixth-inning sacrifice fly as the Comets opened
Southern California Regional play with a 3-0 victory
over Santa Barbara City College on May 6.

SCHOOL BASEBALL: Was a three-year varsity player for coach
John Paino at Temecula Valley. ... Won Golden Bears'
