2008 SEASON: Was hitting .308 with 10 doubles, a triple, two home runs and 19 RBIs when he sustained a season-ending injury in the first inning of the Comets' 10-9 victory over San Diego City College on March 10. Suffered a broken hand when he was hit by a pitch... Had a slugging percentage of .477 when his season came to an abrupt end. ... Batted .273 for Pacific Coast Conference games. ... Went 4-for-5 with a home run, double and two RBIs in the Comets' season opener at Cypress on Jan. 26. ... Was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs in a 10-0 win over Ventura on Feb. 1. ....
