ACADEMICS: Undecided major at Palomar.

2008 SEASON: Was 3-2 with a 3.74 ERA as a true freshman, pitching 43 1/3 innings. ... Was 3-0 with an ERA of 0.84 in Pacific Coast Conference games as he came off a minor mid-season injury to close the season strong. ... Was an honorable mention all-conference selection. ... Gave up one run in 4 2/3 innings vs. Cerritos on Jan. 31. ... Started against Los Angeles Pierce on Feb. 15 and surrendered two runs on four hits in six innings. Shut out the Brahmas over the first six innings, striking out four and walking none, before tiring and leaving the game in the seventh. ... Came into the game with two outs in the top of the third and the CometsPalomar trailing 4-0 against San Diego Mesa on April 17. Pitched 5 1/3 scoreless innings, recording the victory, in a game the Comets rallied to win 8-4. ... Allowed one run over eight innings to beat conference champion Southwestern 3-1 on April 24. ... Beat Imperial Valley 4-1 on May 1, surrendering one run on six hits over eight innings.
