2008 SEASON: Was 4-3 with a 3.91 ERA and 44 strikeouts (compared to only eight walks) in 48 1/3 innings. ... Was both a starter and reliever. ... Was 4-1 with an ERA of 2.48 in Pacific Coast Conference games, striking out 26 and walking one in 29 innings. ... Gave up one earned run in 3 1/3 relief innings, striking out five, against Cerritos on Jan. 31. ... Allowed one earned run in 1 2/3  relief innings vs. Fullerton on Feb. 7. ... Came on in relief and got the Comets out of a seventh-inning jam against Los Angeles Pierce on Feb. 15. ... Started and beat San Diego Mesa 5-2 on March 13, allowing one run in eight innings while striking out eight and walking none. ... Threw five innings of one-hit, shutout ball, striking out 12 and walking none, in a 9-0 win over Imperial Valley on March 4. ... Allowed one earned run in six innings, striking out four and walking none, on March 11 in a 13-4 victory against Mesa. ... Notched his fourth victory xon March 25 when he threw the first six innings in a 7-5 win over Grossmont.

2007 SEASON: Compiled a 2.95 ERA while recorded a team-high four saves for the Comets over 18 1/3, appearing primarily in a closing role. ... Was 1-0 with one save and a 3.60 ERA for 10 innings in the Pacific Coast Conference. ... Pitched the final inning and notched his first collegiate save as the Comets downed Santa Ana on Jan. 30 on the road. ... Gave up one run in three innings vs. Cerritos on Feb. 2. ... Pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning in an 18-10  victory at Mt. San Jacinto on Feb. 6. ... Threw two innings of hitless, scoreless ball, registering his second save, as the Comets rallied to beat Citrus 15-13 on Feb. 10 on the road. ... Pitched a scoreless ninth inning in a 7-0 win over San Diego City College on March 6. ... Stopped Southwestern on one run in the 10th, 11th and 12th innings on March 8, when the Comets scored five runs in the top of the 12th to take home an 11-6 road victory on March 8. ... Pitched the final inning to notch his third save on March 15 in a 3-1 win over Grossmont. ... Pitched a scoreless ninth inning in a 9-2 victory over San Diego City College on March 31. ... Pitched an inning of shutout ball to notch his fourth save on April 5 as the Comets pinned a 9-8 loss on Chaffey, which entered the game with a 24-9 record. ... Pitched 2/3 of an inning of shutout relief vs. Southwestern on April 12. ... Pitched a shutout inning in relief in an 11-3 win at Imperial Valley on April 21. ... Pitched a hitless, scoreless inning in a 9-3 road victory over San Diego City College on May 1.

HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Was a second-team All-Valley League pitching for coach Desi Herrera at San Marcos High School as a senior during the 2005 season. ... Won back-to-back games in the San Diego Lions Tournament. . ... Was 7-5 as a senior with a 3.25 earned run average and 75 strikeouts.
