freshman during the 2008 season, starting 12. ... Broke into his community
college career with a bang on Feb. 1, in the Comets'
third game of the season, a 10-0 victory over Ventura.
Went 2-for-3, doubled and drove in two runs. ... Went
2-for-4 and scored a run against Fullerton on Feb. 7.
... Singled to lead off the game at Mt. San Jacinto on
Feb. 14 but was left stranded.... Was 2-for-4 and scored
two runs vs. Mt. San Jacinto on March 19. ... Entering
the game as a pinch-runner in the ninth inning, scored
the winning run on Tyler Saladina's single as the Comets
beat Grossmont 9-8 on the road on March 27. ... Tripled
in two runs in a 13-2 victory over Imperial Valley on
April 28
