2007 SEASON: Appeared in 41 games and started 34, usually as the Comets' starting left fielder.  ... Also started in right field. ... Had five doubles, a triple, two home runs and 20 RBIs. ... Went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs in the season opener at Cypress on Jan. 27. ... Was 3-for-4 with another HR and two RBIs in a 4-3 win at Santa Ana on Jan. 30. ... Was 3-for-5 and drove in two runs in a 7-2 win over Ventura on Feb. 3. ... Was 2-for-4, doubled and drove in a run in an 18-10 slugfest victory at Mt. San Jacinto on Feb. 6. ... Went 2-for 4, scored three runs and stole a base as the Comets won 11-6 in 12 innings at Southwestern on March 8. ... Went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in a 14-2 win at Imperial Valley on March 20. ... Was 3-for-5 and drove in two runs in an 8-5 victory over the Arabs on March 22. ... Singled to lead off the eighth inning and scored a run on April 5, when the Comets scored twice to pin a 9-8 loss on Chaffey, which entered the game with a 24-9 record. ... Went 2-for-6, doubled and scored three runs vs. Grossmont on April 17. ... Was 2-for-4 with two RBIs in a 4-2 victory over the Griffins on April 19. ... Went 2-for-2 with an RBI in an 11-3 win at Imperial Valley on April 21. ... Went 2-for-4 and tripled, driving in two runs, in a 9-3 win on the road over San Diego City College on May 1. ...

2006 SEASON: Saw action as a part-time starter in left field, playing in 42 games. ... Batted .290 in the Pacific Coast Conference, going 9-for-31 in 18 conference games. ... Delivered a pinch-hit double in the seventh inning of the Comets' 11-2 win over San Bernardino Valley on March 10. ... Singled as a pinch-hitter and drove in a run in a 16-3 victory over San Diego City College on March 11. ... Delivered another pinch-hit single to lead off the sixth inning as the Comets mauled Imperial Valley 12-1 on March 9. ... Walked in the bottom of the ninth and scored the tying run on Cameron Penney's double as the Comets scored 2 runs in the inning to beat Grossmont on March 14. ... Went 3-for-6 with 2 doubles and an RBI in 17-13 win at Imperial Valley on March 17.

2006 SUMMER WOOD-BAT BASEBALL: One of the leading hitters for the Southern California Running Birds team that toured Alaska.

HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Batted .354 with 6 home runs, 26 RBIs and 9 stolen bases as a senior under coach Dave Barrett at Oceanside High in 2005. ... Was a first-team All-Avocado League pick and first-team North County Times All-North County selection. ... Played four years of varsity ball for the Pirates, who advanced to the CIF-San Diego Section Division II finals when he was a freshman in 2002. ... Qualified for the honor roll all four years of high school, graduating with academic recognition.
