PERSONAL: Born July 5, 1988, in San Diego. Son of Guy and Debbie Willeford. ... Has two brothers, Alex (14) and Jackson (12), and one sister, Emma (8). ... Graduated from Ramona with academic honors and a 3.7 grade-point average.

2007 SEASON: A first-team All-Pacific Coast Conference selection. ... Batted .349 for 169 at-bats while starting 42 of 43 games at first base. ... Had 13 doubles (second on the team), four home runs to lead the club, 59 hits to lead the team lead and 43 RBIs, also to lead the team. ... Also led season-long starters with a .497 slugging percentage, and was hit by pitches nine times, second-best on the team. ... Fielded 998 at first base, making one error in 459 chances. ... Hit .317 in Pacific Coast Conference games. ... Went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI's in the Comets' season opener at Cypress on Jan. 27. ... Went 3-for-5 and doubled in a 7-2 victory over Ventura on Feb. 3. ... Was 2-for-4 with an RBI, doubled and scored three runs in an 18-10 win at Mt. San Jacinto on Feb. 6. ...Singled to drive in a run and also reached base as a hit batter as the Comets knocked off Riverside Community College, ranked No. 2 in the nation at the time, on Feb. 7. ... Went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs in a 15-13 victory over Citrus on Feb. 10. ... Was 2-for-3 and drove in two runs in a 5-1 win vs. Cerro Coso on Feb. 16. ... Ignited the Comets to an 18-3 rout of Los Angeles Pierce on Feb. 17, when he went 4-for-5, homered, doubled, drove in four runs and scored three. ...  Doubled and drove in a run in a 12-2 win at Imperial Valley on March 1. ... Singled to drive in two runs during a seven-run eighth inning that lifted the Comets to a 7-0 victory over San Diego City College on March 6. Finished the game 2-for-4. ... Went 2-for-7 with an RBI in an 11-6, 12-inning win at Southwestern on March 8. ... Was 2-for-5 as the Comets beat the Jaguars 8-3 on March 10. ... Went 2-for-4, doubled, drove in a run and walked in a 9-5 win at Grossmont on March 13. Doubled in a run during the Comets' seven-run eighth inning, when they overcame a 3-2 Griffins lead to go on top 9-3. ... Went 2-for-5 with a double in a 14-2 win at Imperial Valley on March 20. ... Went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in the second inning as the Comets notched their seventh straight victory, 8-5 over the Arabs, on March 22. ... Slugged a two-run homer in the bottom of the first against San Diego Mesa on March 24. ... Helped lead Palomar to a 9-2 win over San Diego City College on March 31, going 3-for-4 with a sacrifice fly and three RBIs. ... Went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs vs. Golden West on April 3. ... Went 4-for-4 with his fourth home run, a walk and two RBIs in a 8-3 win over Mt. San Jacinto on April 4. ... Was 2-for-4 and drove in a run vs. Southwestern on April 10. ... Went 3-for-6 with three RBIs vs. Grossmont on April 17. ... Doubled to drive in two runs in an 11-3 victory at Imperial Valley on April 21. ... Went 2-for-4 with an RBI as the Comets routed the Arabs 16-0 on April 24.

HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Played for coach Dean Welch at Ramona High School, where he was a second-team All-Valley League selection. Batted .450 and hit five home  runs as a senior. ... Helped lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back league titles as a junior in 2005 and as a senior in 2006.
