2007 SEASON: Saw limited action early due to a hamstring injury but settled in as the Comets' regular starting designated hitter and was an All-Pacific Coast Conference honorable mention pick as a true freshman. ... Batted .355, for 62 at-bats with three doubles, a triple and three home runs. ... His .581 slugging percentage is No. 1 on the team. ... Hit ..354 in the Pacific Coast Conference. ... Went 2-for-3 with a double in a 5-1 win over Cerro Coso on Feb. 15. ... Went 1-for-1 and slugged a two-run home run in 18-3 rout of Los Angeles Pierce on Feb. 17. ... Went 2-for-5 with his second HR and three RBIs in a 14-2 win at Imperial Valley on March 24 as he celebrated his 19th birthday four days early. ... Went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI as the Comets beat San Diego Mesa 4-3 in 12 innings on the road on March 27. ... Was 2-for-5 with a triple and two RBIs vs. San Diego City College on the road on March 29. ... Went 2-for-4 vs. Golden West on April 3. ... Went 2-for-5 against Southwestern on April 10. ... HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Played for coach Tommy Correa at Waiakea High School. ... Was a first-team all-league selection as a third baseman and also was an all-state honorable mention selection. ... Help lead Waiakea to back-to-back league titles and a third-place finish in the Hawaii state tournament.
