and 1 run in the 10th to beat Cuesta 7-6
on May 21 and remain alive in the
tournament. Singled and scored a run
during the ninth-inning rally. Led of the
10th inning with a single and scored the
winning run on Joey Burke's single. Went
2-for-5 with 2 RBIs as Palomar beat Rio
Hondo 5-0 in another elimination game
later the same day. ... Doubled in the
winning run May 22 as the Comets forced
an extra game for the championship by
beating Southwestern 5-4 in 10 innings.

SCHOOL: Played for former Palomar
pitching coach Rick Lepire at Vista High
School, making second-team All-Palomar
League as a sophomore in 2002 and as a
senior in 2004. ... Was honorable mention
all-league as a junior during the 2003
