2006 SEASON: Saw action as a part-time starter in left field, playing in 42 games. ... Batted .290 in the Pacific Coast Conference, going 9-for-31 in 18 conference games. ... Delivered a pinch-hit double in the seventh inning of the Comets' 11-2 win over San Bernardino Valley on March 10. ... Singled as a pinch-hitter and drove in a run in a 16-3 victory over San Diego City College on March 11. ... Delivered another pinch-hit single to lead off the sixth inning as the Comets mauled Imperial Valley 12-1 on March 9. ... Walked in the bottom of the ninth and scored the tying run on Cameron Penney's double as the Comets scored 2 runs in the inning to beat Grossmont on March 14. ... Went 3-for-6 with 2 doubles and an RBI in 17-13 win at Imperial Valley on March 17.

HIGH SCHOOL: Batted .354 with 6 home runs, 26 RBIs and 9 stolen bases as a senior under coach Dave Barrett at Oceanside High in 2005. ... Was a first-team All-Avocado League pick and first-team North County Times All-North County selection. ... Played four years of varsity ball for the Pirates, who advanced to the CIF-San Diego Section Division II finals when he was a freshman in 2002. ...
