NCAA DIV. I COLLEGES: Transfer from San Diego State. ... Signed early for the 2007 season with the University of Kansas.

2006 SEASON: An All-Pacific Coast Conference honorable mention selection, barely missing a spot on the first team in balloting of conference coaches. ... Had an 8-4 record and a 2.63 earned run average, striking out 65 batters in 92 1/3 innings, through the regular season. ... Finished with a 2.56 ERA through the post-season. ... Second on the team to PCC leader Nick Vincent in strikeouts. ... Had an ERA of 2.37 in the Pacific Coast Conference, with 41 strikeouts in 60 2/3 innings. ... Gave up 4 hits and 2 runs, striking out 5 batters in  6 innings to pick up the pitching win in a 10-2 victory over Ventura on Feb. 3. ... Threw 8 innings of 2-hit, shutout ball, striking out 8 and walking 1, to beat Glendale 6-1 on Feb. 10. ... Scattered 5 hits in 6 innings, giving up a single unearned run while striking out 7 and walking 1, to beat Southwestern 11-1 on March 2. ... Defeated San Diego Mesa 5-1 on March 7, giving up 1 run on 2 hits in 7 innings. ... Pitched a complete-game 4-hitter, striking out 7 and walking 1, to beat Southwestern 3-1 on the road on March 24. ... Was selected as Pacific Coast Conference Men's Athlete of the Week for all sports for that performance. ... Pitched 8 innings of 6-hit ball, giving up a lone unearned run, in a 6-1 win over San Diego Mesa on March 30. ... Beat Imperial Valley 18-3 on April 6, surrendering an unearned run in 5 innings and striking out 7. ... Pitched 7 innings of 5-hit ball without an unearned run vs. Chaffey on April 13. ... Was the winning pitcher May 4 as the Comets defeated visiting San Diego Mesa 4-1 to wrap up the conference championship. Scattered 4 hits in 8 innings, giving up 1 run, striking out 5 and walking 1. ... Southern California Regionals Round 1 — Pitched 6 innings of 5-hit ball, surrendering 1 run, against Rio Hondo on May 14 but wasn't involved in the decision in a game the Comets eventually lost in 11 innings.

2005 SEASON: Saw action as a starting pitcher for San Diego State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for former Palomar pitching coach Rick Lepire at Vista High School, helping lead the Panthers to the CIF-San Diego Section Division I playoffs three of four seasons as a pitcher and catcher. ...
