2006 SEASON: Was 1-0 appearing in 10 games for the Comets through the regular season, striking out 11 batters in 10 innings. ... Pitched an inning of scoreless, hitless ball in a 10-3 win at Citrus on Feb. 9. ... Threw 1 2/3 innings vs. Los Angeles Pierce on Feb. 16, surrendering 1 hit, 0 runs and striking out 2 while walking 0. ... Pitched an inning of hitless, scoreless ball, striking out 2 and walking 0, as the Comets routed Mt. San Jacinto 12-1 on the road on Feb. 23.  ,,, Pitched a shutout inning in an 8-1 victory over San Diego Mesa on April 1, striking out 2. ... 2005 SEASON: Was 2-1 with a 5.47 earned run average in 24 2/3 innings as Palomar became the first San Diego County team to advance to the State Championship Game in 31 years. ... Was one of the heroes of the Super Regional championship that put the Comets there for the first time in history. ... Had an ERA of 2.79 for 9 2/3 innings pitched in Pacific Coast Conference games. ... Pitched a scoreless ninth inning in a 30-4 win at Imperial Valley on April 7, retiring the side in order on two groundballs and a strikeout. ... Pitched shutout ball in the eighth and ninh innings April 23 in a 2-1 win over San Diego Mesa, striking out 3 and walking 0. Southern California Regionals Round 1 — Started the Comets' 7-4, 11-inning win over Santa Barbara City College in the Southern California Regionals on May 15, pitching the first 4 innings. Super Regionals — Pitched 8-plus innings of 7-hit, 2-run ball May 22 as the Comets knocked off Southwestern 6-2 in the championship game of the Palomar Super Regional. His performance helped lead the way as Palomar became the first San Diego County team to qualify for the State Finals in 31 years. State Final Four — Started the State Championship Game vs. Santa Rosa on May 30 in Fresno. Pitched 2-plus innings and took the loss as the Comets finished with a runner-up finish in the state.
