Struck out 4 batters and walked 0 in that game Southern California Regionals Round 1 — Pitched 3 innings in relief in the Comets' 7-4, 11-inning Southern California Regional victory over Santa Barbara City College on May 15. Super Regionals — Appeared in all 4 of the Comets' victories as they became the first San Diego County team in 31 years to qualify for the State Final Four. ... Pitched 1 1/3 innings of 1-hit, shutout relief in a 7-6, 10-inning win over Cuesta on March 21, striking out 4 and walking 1. ... Shut out Rio Hondo in the ninth inning later the same aftternoon to preserve the Comets' 5-0 victory. ... Came on to pitch the final two-thirds of an inning on May 22, recording his third save as Palomar forced an additional game for the championship by beating Southwestern 5-4. ... Then, in the title game, he came on during the ninth inning and recorded the final 3 outs as the Comets won 6-2 to qualify for a trip to the Final Fou. State Final Four — Pitched a scoreless ninth inning, retiring all 3 batters he faced, as the Comets defeated eventual State Champion Santa Rosa in their first game of the State Finals on May 28. ... Threw the final 3 2/3 innings and picked up his fourth save in the winners' bracket finals as Palomar defeated host Fresno City College to become the first San Diego County team to reach the State Championship Game in 31 years. ... Also pitched 1 2/3 innings in relief in Palomar's State Championship Game loss to Santa Rosa as the Bear Cubs won the State title for the first time in 53 years as the Comets finished as State runners-up.

Threw 3 innings of shutout relief to pick up his first save March 30 in a 10-9 win over Grossmont. .... Threw 5 innings without surrendering an earned run in a 16-inning loss to San Diego Mesa on April 3. ... Picked up his first victory on April 6 when he threw 2/3 of an inning of hitless, shutout relief in a 4-3 win over Orange Coast. ... Pitched 2 innings of shutout relief April 27 vs. conference champion Southwestern. ... Came on to retire the last 2 batters of the game to record his second save as the Comets beat San Diego Mesa 7-5 on May 4. Postseason — Came on in relief to strike out the only batter he faced in the Comets' 8-7 loss to El Camino College in the opening game of the Southern California Regionals.
