2005 SEASON: Was a back-up irst baseman and designaged hitter for the Comets and has been offered a baseball scholarship by Fresno Pacific. ... Batted .500, best on the team, with 8 hits in 16 at-bats. ... Doubled in his first plate appearance of the season, Feb. 8 at Golden West. ... Started at designated hitter and went 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs in the second game of a doubledeader with Mt. SAC, the No. 5-ranked team in Southern California, on March 22. ... Went 2-for-3 and drove in a run April 7 as the Comets pounded Imperial Valley 30-4. ... Drove in the winning run with a sixth-inning sacrifice fly in a 2-0 victory over San Diego City College on April 21.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Richard Emard at Temecula Valley for team that won the Southwestern League championship. ... Batted .326 with 28 hits and 12 RBIs as a senior, when he made honorable mention All-Southwestern League. ...
