2005 SEASON: Was 2-1 with a 5.47 earned run avrag in 24 2/3 innings as Palomar became the first San Diego County team to advance to the State Championship Game in 31 years. ... Was one of the heros of the Super Regional championship that put the Comets there for the first time in history. ... Had an ERA of 2.79 for 9 2/3 innings pitched in Pacific Coast Conference games. ... Pitched a scoreless ninth inning in a 30-4 win at Imperial Valley on April 7, retiring the side in order on two groundballs and a strikeout. ... Pitched shutout ball in the eighth and nineh innings April 23 in a 2-1 win over San Diego Mesa, striking out 3 and walking 0. Southern California Regionals Round 1 — Started the Comets' 7-4, 11-inning win over Santa Barbara City College in the Southern California Regionals on May 15, pitching the first 4 innings. Super Regionals — Pitched 8-plus innings of 7-hit, 2-run ball May 22 as the Comets knocked off Southwestern 6-2 in the championship game of the Palomar Super Regional. His performance helped lead the way as Palomar became the first San Diego County team to qualify for the State Finals in 31 years. State Final Four — Started the State Championship Game vs. Santa Rosa on May 30 in Fresno. Pitched 2-plus innings and took the loss as the Comets finished with a runner-up finish in the State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Pitched for Carlsbad under former Comet Randy Davila. Was a Union-Tribune All-Academic Team selection.
