Went 2-for-6 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs in a 19-2 victory over College of the Siskiyous on Feb. 20. ... Went 2-for-5 and drove in 2 runs Feb. 24 vs. Orange Coast. ... Went 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBIs vs. Southwestern on March 4. ... Went 3-for-5 with 2 RBI's on March 11 in a 7-5 victory over San Diego City College. Had an RBI single in a 4-run eighth-inning rally that gave the Comets the victory. Made a spectacular defensive play in the game when, waving his arms to appear as if he was going to catch a ball that dropped in, he deeked a City College baserunner into tagging at third on the play, then fielded the ball and gunned him down at the plate. ... Doubled to drive in what turned out to be the winning run in the seventh inning of the Comets' come-from-behind, 10-9 win over Grossmont on March 30. ... went 4-for-5 with a home run and double in a 16-inning loss to San Diego Mesa on April 3. ...
